Utility Technician - Ripon
About The Position
The Facility Utility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the facility as needed. Duties include general housekeeping and sanitation, weed control, cleaning tank vents, painting, and other activities that support production operations. This role operates on a day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which is subject to change based on business needs. The position requires the ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision, utilizing independent judgment regarding work tasks. This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older at time of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn or have knowledge of facility maintenance operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely work in various capacities in Facility Maintenance.
- General housekeeping, basic equipment cleaning and general sanitation, including interior and exterior of plant, to support GMP’s.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards the job and the duties assigned and exhibit initiative to continually learn and improve professional skills.
- Other duties as assigned to meet production needs.
