About The Position

The Budd Group is looking for a reliable and experienced Utility Technician (Janitorial staff member) who would be the backbone of the Staff, supporting the second shift. This is a vital "swing" role that keeps our facilities running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for specialized floor care and ensuring high-traffic areas remain pristine, while also stepping in to support the general cleaning team when needed. Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Consistent attendance for the M-F evening block
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within the 4-hour shift.
• Must be able to successfully pass a mandatory drug screening, criminal background check, and E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Expertly handle vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping across various surfaces.
• Operate a Tugger machine, all types of floor machines, and perform carpet spotting to maintain flooring integrity.
• Fill in for absenteeism to ensure the facility remains fully serviced.
• Pulling trash, dusting, and thorough restroom cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet site-specific needs.
