About The Position
Under general supervision, the Utility Services Worker position provides support for the maintenance and repair of wastewater collections. Posted pay range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent is required.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of general maintenance experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all fluids, tires, and lighting are in operation and that adequate equipment and supplies are available; prepares and checks with crew leader parts and tools for use.
- Performs daily tasks by meeting with crew leader and traveling to the job site to unload equipment; inspects area and gets tools ready; locates valves and hydrants.
- Maintains cleanliness of service truck, dump truck, backhoe, trailer, parts, and tools; checks fuel level, tires, lighting operations, and fluids at end of shift; parks vehicles.
- Trains and or assists other staff members.
- Assists crew leaders as needed.
