Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must be available for on-call roles
  • Flexible in supporting shifts available
  • Mornings, mid-day, overnight, and weekend availability required
  • Available for 2 shifts, 4-5 days a week required for locations in NORTH/SOUTH HOUSTON
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Non-Commissioned Security License required
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Minimum of one year of security experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Perform Rover duties: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
  • Perform Gatehouse duties: Greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control property access.
  • Perform Front Desk duties: Greet guests with courtesy, provide customer service, manage access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
  • Perform Device Check: Scan approved employee devices, read persons IMEI on phones, and ensure it matches provided documentation.
  • Perform North Dock duties: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets for inbound trucks, and monitor loading processes.
  • Perform South Dock duties: Count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor special projects during peak season, send and receive emails, type truck information, and monitor loading processes.
  • Operate Metal Detector: Check devices in and out, ensure only approved devices are present, screen visitors through X-ray, and prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
  • Perform Tracker duties: Keep track of all high-value loads via computer software.
