About The Position

The primary duty of the Utility Representative is to maintain the beverage lines for the On-Premise accounts and create tickets for the accounts. This position is required to clean lines and fix pouring issues and draught problems for its assigned accounts. The role involves building healthy business relationships and establishing good communication with customers, maintaining and cleaning customers’ draught lines serving Ben E. Keith beers, ensuring all line cleaning standards are met, and troubleshooting various draught issues. The Utility Representative will also communicate with sales staff regarding observed opportunities or challenges, project a friendly and professional image, prioritize multiple competing priorities, attend meetings as required, and ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and keeping the assigned company vehicle clean at all times and operating all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

All applicants hired by Ben E. Keith Beverages are required by the State of Texas to obtain two TABC licenses.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply.
Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
