About The Position
Ovation Communities is seeking a Utility Projects person who is responsible for general facilities cleanliness (picking up recycling, bulk garbage, etc.) as well as general facilities room set up and office moves.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) year experience in residential or commercial cleaning or willingness to learn.
- Competent in the use of standard cleaning tools (vacuum, duster, mops, etc.).
- Must maintain complete confidentiality and discretion
- Read, write and speak the English language
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete daily collection of trash and recycling as directed.
- Properly dispose of waste in a safe and efficient manner.
- Clean and vacuum hallways, floors, entry ways, and units as assigned.
- Assist in the daily set up of meeting spaces and rooms.
- Help with seating arrangement and addition table space as directed by the room reservation form.
- Coordinate tear down and storage of chairs and tables after meetings have concluded.
- Walk grounds as needed to pick up trash and ensure that green space is welcoming and free of litter.
- Evaluate parking spaces (public and staff parking), empty trash bins, and do walk throughs to make sure spaces are clean and presentable.
