About The Position
Enwork is a dynamic, fast-growing company that’s been making a mark within the contract furniture industry. Our products are found in offices, universities, and other spaces around the globe. We’re lucky to outfit some of the leading brands in the world, including Lyft, Microsoft, Tesla and Snapchat. Enwork is looking to fill a general labor position in its metal machining department.
Requirements
- Quality craftsmanship with a good eye for detail including inspection of finished components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints.
- Teamwork mentality to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient area.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout the entire shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate various saws to cut raw material for the machine shop and assembly departments.
- Utilize a pipe threading machine.
- Operate equipment to perform simple drilling functions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of machines when necessary.
- Ensure proper machine setup and accurate interpretation of prints and specifications to produce products correctly.
