About The Position

The Utility Porter maintains the cleanliness of the Casino Resort and public areas. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age.
Understand and comply with all Company and department rules.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
Interact with others in a friendly, positive, and courteous manner.
Have basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous public-area or housekeeping cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service” standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned area.
Operate tools and equipment as trained.
Clean assigned area as instructed.
Move, rearrange, and relocate furniture and equipment.
Stock and maintain par levels of supplies in all porter closets.
Clean biohazard spills and contaminated areas. Pick up and remove trash and broken glass.
Clean walls, ceiling, and vents.
Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment used within the department.
Have knowledge of the MSDS booklet locations for your department.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
