About The Position

Responsible for the washing, drying, folding, ironing and storing of linens for the laundry. Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy. Assist vendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations. Handle cleaning products in a safe manner. Maintains daily worksheets. Must be willing to work any shift. Count & process reclaimed items. Weigh & count all received linen. Keep accurate counts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments. This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

Requirements

No formal education.
One year experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful.
Knowledge of operating laundry equipment a plus.
Must be willing to work any shift.
