Utility Plant Operator
About The Position
The University of Oklahoma is seeking a motivated team member to help support the operation of our steam and chilled water plant systems that keep campus running year-round. In this hands-on role, you will: Assist with operating boilers, chillers, and cooling towers Monitor and inspect equipment for safe and efficient performance Conduct water testing and document operational data Learn preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques Read gauges, meters, and technical drawings Great opportunity to gain valuable experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, and industrial operations. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
