This position involves performing a variety of tasks to support our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials and equipment. The position will be responsible for multiple duties, contributing to the overall success of the production process. After brief on the job training, you will be expected to move into a Utility Technician position which includes operation of material handling equipment such as overhead and mobile cranes of various sizes and types, tractors, trucks, dozers, loaders, boom trucks, and feeders. Work is performed in an industrial environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and hazardous materials. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required at all times to ensure safety while performing job duties. Dependent upon the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy. You may be required to work near molten metal.
