About The Position
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated Utility Person at our Alden Quarry, IA location. This person will be cross-trained to maintain different parts of our operation and operate a variety of equipment at our plant.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid US drivers license
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy mobile equipment.
Responsibilities
- Uphold our Guardian Angel Creed to work safely
- Responsible for operating a variety of equipment utilized in dredge mining
- Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment
- Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation
- Maintain consistent and efficient operation of plant
- Diagnose and assist in trouble-shooting when process is interrupted
- Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections as needed
- All other duties as assigned
