About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform a variety of service, inspection, or labor operations throughout the quarry or plants. Maintain strong communications with all other plant employees to ensure efficient and safe workflow. Assist in maintenance work and area cleanup, this is honestly the bulk of the work. Will perform other duties as may be requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
- Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment
- Prior experience operating mobile equipment (man reach, telehandler, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
