About The Position
As a Utility Person I you will operate a fork lift to move parts, loading and unloading of equipment. Shipping/receiving of parts from manufacturers, customers and various other sources. Cleaning and prep of equipment for shipment and storage. Other duties as assigned. The Utility Person I is responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following: Keep shop clean and organized. General maintenance on equipment and buildings. Pick-up and delivery as required. Maintain steam cleaner/parts cleaner equipment. Ensure that material/components removed from vat are properly cleaned and organized. Steam cleaning of parts, engines, and other equipment. Assist Technicians as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
- Must have the ability to effectively operate forklifts.
- Must have the ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner/parts cleaner.
- Must have the ability to effectively operate general hand tools.
- Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
