About The Position

The Utility Operator performs preventive maintenance and repair procedures on Production Plant and Rolling stock and operates heavy equipment as needed. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our production facilities.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and able to work on their own as well with others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within the mining industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs of all Plant and Rolling Stock
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on plant equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace screen media, grease bearings, seals, repair or replaces broken parts.
• Maintains a clean environment around plant area and all aspects of the property.
• Housekeeping.
• Operate various machines from time to time.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks including MSHA and OSHA Compliance.
