Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for an Wirewound Utility Operator on 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Three months to one year of experience operating machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Fill in at several operations as needed due to dictating workload, vacations, or sick leave. These operations include but are not limited to printing, coating, and tinning.
  • Receive order from material handler.
  • Assure that print stamp is correct and prints parts per appropriate specification.
  • Receive order from material handler.
  • Coat order on appropriate coater as directed by the appropriate specification.
  • Receive order from material handler.
  • Tin and wash parts per appropriate specifications.
  • Complete and sign necessary paperwork.
  • Clean machines and work area as necessary.
