Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work 12-hour shifts.
  • Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Assist Operators in putting lines up.
  • Assist with lacing bag machine, winder & separators.
  • Assist with setting up gussets, slitters, bubble guides, winders & baggers.
  • Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.
  • Responsible for pulling, weighing, managing & putting away scrap.
  • Setting up resin for incoming shifts.
  • Fill stock cores and maintain core inventory at lines. Dispose of empty carts and cores.
  • Assist with covering breaks.
  • Empty trash containers into outside dumpsters at shift end.
  • Pull work orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining “bind the lines” in a clean well-organized manner.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the cardboard and cradle isles.
  • All other duties as assigned.
