The Network Model Engineer is a technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, development, validation, and ongoing governance of the electrical network model supporting Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) implementations across North America. This role is central to successful ADMS deployments and ongoing system reliability. The Network Model Engineer works closely with utility clients, GIS teams, operations stakeholders, and ADMS vendors to ensure the distribution network model is accurate, complete, and optimized for Outage Management Systems and advanced applications including: Power flow and state estimation, Fault location, isolation and service restoration (FLISR), Volt/VAR optimization (VVO), Relay protection and coordination, Switching management, Outage management, DER integration and hosting capacity analytics. The position requires strong expertise in utility distribution engineering, GIS data structures, CIM/data standards, and control room applications.
