About The Position

We're currently hiring for Part Time Meter Readers in Mackenzie, BC! NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you! Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle and have a clean criminal and driving record. Schedule will be approximately working 5 days over a 9 day period/month. The successful candidate must be located in the Mackenzie, BC area.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: background check and driving record
• Must have access to your own reliable vehicle
• Must be able to walk up to 10-15 miles per day while reading meters accurately
• Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age
• Must be located in the Mackenzie, BC area

Responsibilities

• Reading gas meters and recording volume used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing.
• May perform visual meter inspection to assess the condition and overall operation of the meter and note any visible defects or issues.
