Utility Maintenance - 2nd shift

About The Position

As a Maintenance Utility Worker, you’ll be part of our team located in Northlake, TX. You’ll get to collect and properly dispose of cardboard, wood, plastic, banding, trash, and pallets along established floor routes; process all recycling materials. Safely operate a walkie rider and floor scrubber; certified on Reach and Conventional forklift for material movement. Clean up spills and perform housekeeping duties in accordance with EHS protocols and standards. Perform battery changes and watering, maintaining accurate records of all changes; document parts used per established procedures. Receive deliveries, unload palletized products, palletize items for storage, and load pallets and recycle materials as required. Complete assigned project tasks, maintain staging lane, perform 5S duties to keep work areas and equipment organized, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and lift/move 10 lbs., regularly and up to 50 lbs., occasionally.
Resilience to work in environments occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
Quality-focused, eager to learn and grow, and willing to embrace innovation and change.
