About The Position

Responsible for supporting the operations department through general maintenance work completion. This role involves performing general maintenance and repair of electrical gear, batteries, and lighting systems, as well as general maintenance of kitchen equipment including dishwashers and boosters. The employee will also help maintain district equipment and make electrical repairs on equipment when applicable. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Operations. The job requires the ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere, effective communication skills, and a competent understanding of technology. Requirements

High School Diploma
3 years of similar experience preferred
Valid Colorado Driver’s License
Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students, and the public
Ability to effectively read, write, speak, and listen to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities
Integrity, trust, and work ethic are required to be able to work with little supervision
Competent understanding of technology to perform the job
Must pass pre-employment physical
Ability to perform light lifting and moving of product (up to 100 lbs)
Effective Communication and Social Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety procedures, lockout/tagout procedures
Able to safely and comfortably work at heights and in confined spaces
Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students, and the public
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear
The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; feel or smell

Nice To Haves

two years of trade experience preferred
Plumbing, mechanical and/or Electrical experience preferred
Previous experience in general maintenance fields, residential/commercial electrical experience preferred
