The position requires ensuring thorough routine inspections, addressing discrepancies, monitoring boiler chemistry, documenting work, communicating system status, maintaining good housekeeping, and showing urgency in addressing equipment breakdowns. The mechanic will utilize troubleshooting skills for quick resolution and long-term prevention of issues, ensure proper equipment operation procedures, assist in SOP development, adhere to PSM policies, and be a qualified member of the Hazmat response team. The role also involves attending daily shift meetings, performing duties following Good Manufacturing Practices with minimal supervision, and handling tasks related to food safety and quality.
