The Utility Machine Relief Operator is responsible for rotating through various positions and must be able to perform all jobs and operate all machines in the department. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $23.70/hr, with a shift increase for second and third shifts. This position is open to current team members at the facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should contact their local HR Partner. The application process is through the Workday system, and openings are posted for three working days (Tues-Thurs). Bidding disqualifiers include more than four attendance points, an active written warning within the last three months, a written warning with suspension within the last six months, or less than six months in the current position (unless it's a promotional position). Team members will have a five-day trial period in the position. After the trial period, team members must remain in the position, bid on a promotional position, or demote by completing a Status Change Form. If a team member self-demotes, they will be placed on a six-month "freeze" where they cannot bid on other positions. Team members hired into part-time positions are not eligible to bid on promotional positions and/or transfers for six months. Applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
