About The Position
The starting pay for this position is $23.70/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift. POSITION SUMMARY: The Utility Machine Operator is responsible for filling in for vacation/absenteeism and must be able to perform all jobs and operate all machines in the department.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Team Member will flex/grip with wrists/hands
- Team Member will walk, bend, and stand
- Must have 3 months of operator or manufacturing experienc
- must have 6 months work history within the last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating machinery, understanding specs of the product being ran, documenting both on paper and electronically machine setting, weights and other data as needed
- Must be able to assemble, disassemble and clean equipment when needed and communicate issues to lead and supervisor
- Keeps a legible accurate record as required including entering data as needed into a computer-based system
- Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
- Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
- Must be able to operate a Power Industrial Truck
- Use and read scales and thermometers
- Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator
