About The Position

As a utility locator, you would be responsible for completing all assigned tasks by their due dates. Completing tasks consists of accurately locating and marking required underground utilities, specifically fiber and copper communication lines, taking clear photos of your markings, and updating supervisors of completed tasks and listing important notes.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Able to read and comprehend utility drawings and/or maps.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Must be self-motivated.
Strong time management skills.
Must have/maintain a valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.

Nice To Haves

1 to 2 years line locating experience is preferred.
1yr Computer Skills (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Accurately locate and mark required underground utilities, specifically fiber and copper communication lines.
Take clear photos of your markings.
Update supervisors of completed tasks and listing important notes.
Adhere to company policies.
Ensure that all devices are properly working daily.
Update supervisor/manager of any issues or problems in the field.
