About The Position

USIC is hiring a Utility Locator in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an on-site, daytime, full-time field role for someone who enjoys outdoor, independent work and is quality-conscious, safety-focused, and hardworking. Technicians work independently using a company-provided vehicle and technology to provide underground utility locating and mark-out services. No prior locating experience is needed; experienced locators are also encouraged to apply. USIC provides training and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

Be able to work overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts, including nights and weekends, depending on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior utility locating experience is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer utilities.
Thoroughly search designated areas for underground utilities.
Accurately mark utility locations, complete the required documentation, and photograph each locate.
