About The Position

This is a field-based role where you will locate underground utilities (gas) before digging projects begin. Using maps and equipment, you will mark where utilities are to keep crews safe and prevent damage. You will be working outdoors and driving daily.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with NO restrictions
• Comfortable driving long distances daily
• Able to work outdoors in all weather
• Able to walk 4–6 miles daily and lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to work overtime

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities (gas) before digging projects begin.
• Use maps and equipment to locate underground utilities.
• Mark locations with paint/flags.
• Communicate findings to crews.
• Handle emergency calls (rotating schedule, if applicable).
• Drive to job sites (50–200+ miles/day).
