About The Position

ELM Utility Services is seeking Utility Locate Technicians in the Casa Grande, Arizona area. ELM Technicians play a crucial role in their communities by ensuring the dependability and maintenance of gas, electric, and communication systems. They are responsible for performing high-quality utility marking to prevent damage during excavation of these vital facilities. Technicians utilize the advanced LaunchPoint software system, which leverages the latest technology for increased efficiency. Starting wages range from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check.
• This is a Safety-Sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of Marijuana remains a drug listed in Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, and the use of marijuana (medical or recreational) is prohibited.
• High School Diploma or GED & at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Working independently outdoors with your company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, you will complete a route of locate requests each day
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers
• Use your mobile work system to receive your daily tasks
