About The Position
The Team Member will be responsible for ensuring that vats are cleaned and sanitized properly. This role involves performing all work duties safely, maintaining and promoting the Tyson safety culture, and receiving training as required. Other duties and positions may be required or assigned.
Requirements

- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the vats are properly washed, sanitized and covered.
- Ensuring all chemicals are labeled and stored correctly.
- Inspecting meat muscles for foreign material prior to entering the injector or grinder.
- Using manual pallet jacks to pull and push vats in and out of the area.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the washroom and the area around it.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing walls, ceilings, framework, and processing equipment throughout the plant, by foaming, scrubbing and rinsing.
- Reporting all findings or any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to the supervisor.
