We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented Utility Infrastructure Improvement Field Technician to join our Bridgeport, WV office. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of outdoor work-related experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Katapult Pro highly desired
  • Knowledge of pole design including NESC requirements and general safety practices a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work in all outdoor weather conditions year-round across residential, commercial, and industrial areas
  • Perform extensive on-foot fieldwork, including walking, navigating varied terrain, and carrying objects up to 20 pounds
  • Communicate effectively with property owners and internal and external stakeholders
  • Use technology tools for data collection and a telescopic fiberglass measurement stick to accurately measure clearances on utility poles
  • Collect field data and maintain accurate daily and weekly reports
  • Travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required
