About The Position
BNI Coal, Ltd., a BNI Energy company and subsidiary of ALLETE, Inc. with locations in Bismarck & Center, ND is now accepting applications for Utility/Heavy Equipment Operators at the Center Mine, Center, ND. This role involves general labor as a utility/heavy equipment operator, including operating and maintaining large mining equipment, pumping water, maintaining pumps, and assisting mechanics. The position requires proficiency in operating large mining equipment and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with shift work involved.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Three years' work experience (Two year college degree may be substituted for 2 years work experience)
- Experience in operating large construction/earth moving equipment is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electrical
- Experience with welding
- Experience with dragline maintenance
- Experience with diesel mechanics
- Computer skills
