Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill an ASPHALT PLANT UTILITY/ GROUND TECHNICIAN position for our Hillsboro Asphalt Plant, located in Hillsboro, TN. The successful candidate for this role will be self-motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Requirements

• Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
• Focus on Safety Excellence.
• Must work well with others.
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include Plant Clean-up, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment and Machinery.
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions.

• Willing to be flexible when called upon to perform other assignments or to assist in other areas at the discretion of management.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning truck beds, and making sure they tarp and strap covers across loaded beds when hauling OGFC.
• Feed fiber into fiber machine – including operating a fork lift to unload fiber from trailer.
• General support and clean-up around the asphalt plant, if needed.
• General maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Utilizing heavy equipment in performing jobs and moving materials around the plant, as needed.
