This role is responsible for assisting machine operators in producing products safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality and packaging requirements meet customer specifications, running with minimal process issues, assisting in achieving OEE goals, and helping to maintain the integrity of process equipment. The position is for the 1st Shift, from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Analytical skills to solve problems
Basic tape measure reading skills
Customer focused; positive attitude
Attention to detail and numbers oriented to ensure quality
Well-organized and exercise sound judgment in decision making
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate to cross functional team effectively, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Responsible for keeping production areas and other defined areas clean and organized
Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs repetitively
Must be able to use and read a tape measure and caliper
Must be able to work at least 8+ hour work days
Following all plant safety rules, wearing proper PPE at all times
Attend Line Board Meetings
Must be able to solve problems under pressure
Continue to look for ways to reduce downtime
Work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements.
Ensure packaging of finished goods per customer specification.
Accurately fill out production reports on a daily basis.
Be able to read engineering sheets, and make suggestions for improvement.
Fill in on other machines such as but not limited to one area.
