About The Position

Under limited supervision, performs financial and administrative analysis for the Department of Utility Services related to financial modeling and projections, revenue forecasting, Utility Management System audits, and business process reviews; performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or a closely related field
  • Five (5) years of full-time professional accounting or internal auditing and data analysis experience
  • An equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Professional accounting or auditing experience for a municipal government
  • Actual work experience with a large and complex customer service billing system
  • Experience performing business analysis work in a utility organization
  • Experience with PowerBI, preferably to create dashboards
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Master’s Degree in a closely related field
