About The Position

This position is responsible for loading Feed Trucks, unloading Feed Delivery Trucks, Hopper bottom trucks and rail cars at this facility following Packers and Stockyards Procedures. Tasks: This position is responsible for loading Feed Trucks, unloading Feed Delivery Trucks, Hopper bottom trucks at this facility following Packers and Stockyards Procedures. Perform Feed Order/Deliver System Functions. Report needed repairs to equipment. Assist in repair of equipment. Operate receiving equipment. Fill in for Team Members who are absent or on vacation. Run errands. Keep work areas clean.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Basic mechanical skills
Willing to read and write
Willing and able to operate receiving equipment
Willing and able to lift more than 50 lbs
Willing to use a broom, shovel, dustpan, and air wand
Willing and able to use an 8 lb. to 12 lb. sledgehammer
Willing and able to climb ladders and stairs
Willing to work in elevated area
Willing to ride in a man-lift
Must have a valid Alabama Driver License with a good driving record
Willing to participate in team efforts
Willing to cross-train on all positions
Willing to work flexible hours
Willing to follow Mill Safety Rules
Willing to work in extreme heat and cold
Willing to work in a dusty environment
Six (6) months of Machine Operator experience in work history or on resume
Six (6) months of continuous work history with one (1) employer within the past twenty-four (24) months in work history or on resume
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
