About The Position

This position is responsible for the various tasks associated with the materials used in the Upholstery Department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Great communication skills
  • Previous experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Unload, transfer and store materials used in the Fabric Department, including: fabric rolls, card board boxes, etc, etc.
  • Sweep and take out trash, keeping the department clean.
  • Sort recyclable material into appropriate areas.
  • Maintain supply storage areas and bins in a neat and organized manner.
  • Help maintain inventory on supplies and notify supervisor is supplies run low.
  • Keep floors swept, clean, and supplies put in appropriate areas.
  • Cut down cardboard boxes if needed and remove to dumpster.
  • Carry out any additional job duties assigned by department manager.
  • Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Supervisor.
