We are currently seeking an Experienced Utility/ Excavator Operator to join our team.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators and heavy equipment in heavy civil construction.
GPS machine control experience required.
Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, ground conditions, and safe operating practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid operator's license/tickets and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

CSTS/OSSA or other safety tickets considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment (Rock Truck, skid steer, loader, packer etc) safely and efficiently on heavy civil construction projects.
Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling according to project specifications.
Utilize GPS machine control systems for precise excavation and grading.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Work closely with site supervisors and crew to ensure safe and productive operations.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
