About The Position
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties related to water and wastewater infrastructure, including inspecting existing and/or proposed facilities and installing or constructing infrastructure. Infrastructure includes pipes, valves, fire hydrants, manholes, services, pump stations, and specialized process equipment at water and/or wastewater treatment facilities. The position works under close supervision and follows set procedures. The City of McAllen describes itself as a fast-growing city with a population close to 148,000. Responsibilities
- Inspect existing and/or proposed water and wastewater facilities.
- Install and construct water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipes, valves, fire hydrants, manholes, services, pump stations, and specialized process equipment at treatment facilities.
