Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Excellent driving record, and at least 2 to 3 years’ experience.
  • Must possess Class A CDL
  • Follows all safety and operating procedures for Charter Next Generation and maintains the integrity of corporate equipment
  • Have a driving record in good standing free of any major violations and excessive moving violations or accidents
  • Ability to work outside in all weather
  • Meet the physical demands to do all job requirements safely and efficiently
  • Demonstrate skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Deal effectively with company and outside personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Driving locally among surrounding counties

Nice To Haves

  • HAZMAT endorsement preferred
  • 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Driving CNG trucks and trailers between Green Bay locations.
  • Local shuttling product to/from production warehouses
  • Ensure equipment is safe and properly working conditions
  • Complete a pre and post trip inspection in Geotab, for every truck and trailer driven daily
  • Communicate repairs needed to equipment to the Fleet Manager, so equipment is compliant with all company purchasing, safety and food safety requirements, and applicable laws
  • Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge of, and complies with, CDL/DOT and Company/Plant requirements and standards
  • Completing monthly CNG cornerstone trainings
