About The Position

Clean Harbors Woburn, MA is looking for a Utility Driver/Driver Lead to join their team! The Utility Driver supports our operations through safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment. The successful candidate must have a valid CDL Class B license with the required endorsements and be comfortable operating a 10-speed manual transmission. This position will require local and regional travel throughout the Northeast, including occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

Class B CDL required.
Air Brakes endorsement with no restrictions.
Hazmat (H) endorsement.
Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
Demonstrated ability to drive a 10-speed manual transmission.
Ability to train and mentor on job responsibilities.
Safe driving record and commitment to following all applicable DOT and company safety requirements.
Ability to travel throughout the Northeast and stay overnight as required.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, and be comfortable working at heights with the appropriate PPE.

Nice To Haves

Previous route service driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Transport materials, equipment, and other items to various locations throughout the Northeast.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Maintain accurate vehicle, mileage, delivery, and required regulatory records.
Follow all hazardous-material handling and transportation requirements.
Provide professional and courteous service at customer and job-site locations.
Travel as needed, including overnight trips within the Northeast.
Perform other utility and operational duties as assigned.
