About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility/Dishwasher to join our team at Bobby V's Restaurant and Sports Bar in Windsor Locks, CT. This part-time position is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (cases of product, bus tubs, equipment)
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and handling of dishware and prep items
• Repetitive hand and wrist motions for washing, scrubbing, cutting, and prep tasks
• Working in hot, humid, and sometimes wet environments
• Ability to move quickly and safely around a bustling kitchen
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior dishwasher or kitchen support experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned and sanitized to standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, floor drains, and waste disposal zones
• Restock clean items to kitchen and service stations efficiently to support continuous workflow
• Handle glassware, knives, and equipment safely and properly
• Assist with basic prep work including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients as directed
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Support kitchen team during rushes by transporting product, disposing of trash, or running food as needed
• Communicate supply needs and maintenance issues promptly to kitchen leadership
