As our Utility Worker, you will be expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican Oaks. You will apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy while performing your daily job tasks, ensuring that your work reflects our core principles and commitment to the community. Every day you will operate the dishwashing machine and perform manual washing of pots and pans. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and floors to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. To be successful in this role, you will be able to work, communicate, and cooperate effectively with others. You must demonstrate the ability to perform your duties with little or no supervision while maintaining high standards of departmental cleanliness.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED or combined experience.
• Six months related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and perform manual washing of pots and pans.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and floors to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks.
• Wash pots, pans and trays after meal preparation and serving.
• Return clean items to proper location.
• Utilize cleaning supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Collect and place garbage and trash in designated containers.
