The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. This role involves washing and storing dishes, pots, and other small wares; removing trash and cardboard; sweeping and mopping; breaking down and cleaning the dish machine; and performing other cleaning tasks as needed. The position requires understanding the testing and use of chemicals and cleaning supplies. The Utility Dishroom Tech must follow proper quality assurance and infection control procedures when working in the kitchen, and demonstrate proper use, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment related to their area of responsibility. Additionally, they will assist in breaking down and putting away freight, communicate suggestions, concerns, problems, and unsafe conditions promptly to the appropriate supervisor or manager, and exhibit professional courtesy toward patients, visitors, customers, and employees. Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
