Utility Detail Specialist
About The Position
21st Century Equipment LLC is hiring a part-time Utility Detail Specialist to help maintain and care for our equipment inventory. This role is for individuals who are thorough, detail-oriented, and eager to make a tangible impact by cleaning and detailing equipment exteriors, waxing, buffing, and restoring surfaces, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery, inspecting units for dings, dents, or scratches, touching up blemishes using paint and repair materials, using cleaners for tough stains, applying tire dressing, cleaning engine compartments, ensuring decals and stickers are properly applied, replacing damaged or missing parts, and maintaining organized tools and workspaces. The role is essential in keeping the inventory looking great and performing at its best.
Requirements
- Forklift certification
- Ability to operate equipment (garden tractors to large combines)
- Basic knowledge of equipment safety practices
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and operate a high-pressure washer for long periods
- Willingness to perform multiple duties as assigned
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Pass a background check
- Determination of insurability for positions that require driving
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail equipment exteriors
- Wax, buff, and restore surfaces
- Vacuum interiors and clean upholstery
- Inspect units for dings, dents, or scratches
- Touch up blemishes using paint and repair materials
- Use cleaners, agents, and revitalizers for tough stains
- Apply tire dressing and clean engine compartments
- Ensure decals and stickers are properly applied
- Replace damaged or missing parts
- Maintain organized tools and workspaces
