About The Position
This role involves training to become a backup for selected jobs within the Feed-mill Operations. The individual will be responsible for following the housekeeping schedule to maintain mill cleanliness and performing other duties as instructed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Some computer skills necessary.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: Close vision, Distance vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to walk; sit; reach, push and pull with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear and smell.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Responsibilities

- Follow the Housekeeping schedule to keep the mill clean.
- Perform other duties as instructed by management.
