About The Position

To perform inside and outside custodial duties and maintain all assigned areas in a clean, orderly, attractive, and safe condition.

Requirements

• No special training is required.
• Ability to work cooperatively on a regular basis with other employees.
• To watch for and report potential safety hazards in the plant or office.
• To make sure no confidential papers or materials are lost or moved.
• Perform custodial duties on TriMark facilities and grounds.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition to maintain a safe work environment.
• Actively cooperate with a positive attitude and professional behaviors with employees, colleagues, and management.
• Engage in communications with employees, colleagues, and management in a positive, honest, and open-minded manner.
• Identify what needs to be done and takes action without being asked.
• Takes action before a situation requires it.
• Always showing great attention to detail.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company’s business demands.
• Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, and other protective equipment as necessary for each department in which you are exposed to hazards.
• All areas require normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees and no color deficiency.
• Hearing protection is required in certain departments but is always available.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans floors within plant and office areas; disposes of all trash, gathers recyclable materials, and disposes of in proper manner, keeps areas in an orderly manner.
• Ensure the lunchroom is maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies as needed including at Tech Center and Service and Replacement job sites.
• Performs smaller and less time-consuming building maintenance jobs in carpentry or general repair area.
• Shovels snow and performs other outside maintenance duties to keep the grounds safe and attractive.
• Keeps Supervisor informed of any maintenance or ground problems.
• Keeps accurate time and job records.
• Maintains a good attendance record.
• The position is responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System which includes but not limited to significant environmental aspects, compliance obligations and environmental risks.
• This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS.
• Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision, and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.
