• Ability to drive Zamboni including varsity games is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily operations with energy and care
• Usage of automated custodial equipment: ability to drive Zamboni including varsity games is mandatory, vacuums, auto scrubbers, floor polishers, carpet extractors
• This is a Public Relations role as the venue is both utilized by the university and the community. Exceptional customer service skills are required
• Washroom and shower cleaning
• Maintain proper supplies of soap, hand towels, and toilet tissue in all washrooms
• Dusting, damp wiping, wall/window/ceiling washing, floor dusting/sweeping/wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet/furniture extracting
• Waste removal
• Snow removal
• Movement of tables, chairs, staging, floor coverings, furniture and equipment for events
• Replace light bulbs and fluorescent lights as required in assigned areas
• Carrying of two-way radios in order to facilitate interdepartmental communication, custodial response time, and completion of required duties in a timely manner
