About The Position

This position is only open to current employees supporting the FOMSS II Contract. Applications from individuals who are not currently incumbents on this contract will not be considered.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and telecommunications.
• Proficiency with direct digital controls (DDC) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is typically required.
• Familiarity with network architecture, IP addressing, and system protocols like BACnet or Modbus.
• Typically requires 2 to 5 years of related experience in building controls or a technical diploma/degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, or HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating control sequences, schedules, and software logic for building operations.
• Wiring control panels, mounting sensors, and calibrating field devices.
• Diagnosing system errors, interpreting schematics, and testing equipment to resolve occupant service calls.
• Testing and verifying newly installed systems to ensure they meet design specifications prior to client handover.
• Maintaining point databases, managing user interfaces, and ensuring network security.
