About The Position
Our utility clerks are the calm in the storm at Food 4 Less. Must be outgoing, friendly, and enjoy interacting with diverse guests. Be a part of a company that provides opportunities for professional growth in a fun atmosphere. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work any shifts, including weekends and evenings. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- Sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic problem solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and assist guests with questions
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and welcoming personality
- A positive attitude is essential!
Responsibilities
- Assist with guest questions, requests, and location of products
- When appropriate assist guests with their groceries
- Maintain the total store appearance
- Retrieve carts from the parking lot
- Respond to cleanup calls
- Return unwanted items to shelves
- Perform price checks as needed
