About The Position

Grab the reins and help shape the future of the Seaport’s best kept secret! Creativity must infuse everything we do, and everyone in the Hotel. As a Utility Cleaner, you will ensure that assigned housekeeping areas are kept clean and fully stocked at all times. This role also services assigned public and associate areas in accordance with Omni standards.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Prior housekeeping experience required, or other relevant environmental services experience.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Responds to all guest requests appropriately.
Cleans and stocks linen room / supply closets to appropriate par level.
Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean and well maintained, helping move tables and trays.
Cleans all furniture, lamps, picture frames, and mirrors daily.
Provides full servicing of guest rooms upon request.
Replaces any light bulbs in lighting fixtures as needed.
Responsible for restocking caddies and refilling chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants.
Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations.
Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.
Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
Perform any other duties required by management.
